Proverbs Reconstructed - Gus Dallas - West Bow Press

A good job at sorting Proverbs into categories and alphabetical order
I have to say that I did have high hopes for this book but it didn't meet my expectations.  Have had some good teachers elaborate on the book of Proverbs, and making each Proverb the beautiful gem that it was meant to be in our understanding, this book unfortunately left me cold.  Perhaps my expectations were out of the bounds of what this book was meant to be but as I reviewed it today, I felt that so much more could have been done to reconstruct and illuminate the book of Proverbs - as the author stated in his preface, the book of Proverbs is a difficult book to understand but I don't feel Gus Dallas did Proverbs the justice it deserved.

My e-book format that I reviewed was well set out and very little in the way of typo's that I could pick up.  The book is alphabetized by subject e.g. abomination, adultery, adversity and so on and lists each proverb under it's particular category.  A good effort but no fire I am afraid.
